Time limit for photo requests

Hi! I noticed this time limit that was posted

Would it be alright if I proposed an alternative for photo request expiration? Instead of six months, I think it should be conditional as in, say, a person reports that the site is not accessible, so it is not possible to get a photo there, or if it is determined somehow that such a photo would be out of scope for the Commons.
